により標記のミニ・ワークショップを以下の要領で開催致しますので御案内
申し上げます。関心をお持ちの方多数のご参加をお待ちしております。
上記科研費により来日される Prof. Yakov Pesin (Penn State Univ.) を
中心に標記のミニ・ワークショップを行います。

Prof. Pesin の講演内容:
"Dimension characteristics of dynamical systems."
This will include the general concept of the Caratheodory
dimension of which the Hausdorff dimension and the box dimension
are just examples (this can be the first lecture). Other examples
are multifractal spectra for dynamical systems (with elements of
the multifractal analysis; this may be the second lecture) and
topological pressure (with elements of the thermodynamic
formalism; the third lecture). Of course, for such a short period
of time I can only give an introduction to these subjects but I
will be able to provide all basic notions and describe some basic
ideas.
