[Add Band]

This option performs adding bands for the following purposes.
  1. [Band surgery]
  2. saddle band for knotted surface in S^4.
    In this version, it cannot distinguish upper or lower suddle, So, we can not draw exact geometric condition but compute knot group and related invariants.
  3. 3rd element for theta 3 curve

Usage

  1. Prepare a diagram.
  2. Choose [Add Band].
  3. Left Click a vertex of knot/link in the diagram. This set up the start point of the band.
  4. Draw tne band with left click.
  5. Right click to suspend the band not closed. Left click the end point to resumption the band.
  6. Left click a vertex of knot/link. This set up the end point and close the band.
