Abstract :

In dynamics emerged the notion of forcing order among cyclic braids, analogous to the forcing of periods in Sharkovskii theorem. We shall give an exposition on this forcing order, and explain how Nielsen fixed point theory can be used to calculate all cyclic braids that are forced by a given one.
