Adding printer (Mac OS 10.4 tigers)

プリンターの登録 (Mac OS 10.4 tigers).

例: B棟3階廊下のプリンタ(printer at the third floor of the building B). Xerox DocuPrint 505.

システム環境設定で Print と Fax を選択.

+ をクリックしてプリンタを追加. Click "+" to add a new printer

IP プリンタタブの選択. Choose IP printer tab.

LPD プロトコルでつなぐ. Choose LPD protocol.

プリンター名(DNS名)を入力. Input the DNS name of the printer

両面印刷には PS_DUP をキューの名前に. The queue name is PS_DUP for the double-sided printing.

なお, なにも書かないか "PS" で片面印刷.

最後に追加をクリック. Click the add button.

まず xerox のドライバをダウンロード. 環境設定でローカルにプリンターを追加. ドライバを手動選択. fx ドライバ. これを完了してから, (サーバの場合)サーバ管理または共有でプリンターを公開. ドライバをいれないと英文でも PS エラーを起こす場合あり. (事務室 printer など).
