| Research Summary :
Motivated by the classification of algebraic varieties, I study deformat
ions of algebraic varieties .
In particular, I am interested in deformations of Fano varieties and
Calabi-Yau varieties.
I study the structure of the Kuranishi space which parametrizes
deformations of an algebraic variety, and the existence of a smoothing of
a singular variety.
