About the Journal

The Journal of the Mathematical Society of Japan was founded in 1949. This journal is devoted to the publication of original mathematical works.

Subscription

The annual subscription price is 24000 yen. (6000 yen for a single copy).

Instruction for authors


Manuscripts for publication must be written in English, French or German and typed with adequate margins. Two copies of the manuscript should be sent to:

The authors should keep a copy of the manuscript.
We welcome manuscript prepared in TEX (LaTEX, AMS-TEX, etc). When papers written in TEX are accepted, the authors will be requested to send the text file to the editorial board.
Each paper should include a short but informative ABSTRACT, and KEY WORDS AND PHRASES, as well as the 2000 MATHEMATICAL SUBJECT CLASSIFICATION NUMBERS representing the primary and secondary subjects of the article. If the tile is long, a shortened version should be supplied for the running head.
Authors receive only one set of proofs for cerrrection. Joint authors should indicate on the manuscript which of them should receive the proof.
