Knoppix/Math 2008, VMware/Knoppix/Math 2008: Support

* I cannot download the iso image of the free version by InternetExplore.

We have confirmed this trouble on the InternetExplore 7.0.6000.16607.
Please use other browsers such as Mozilla firefox 2.0.0.12 to download.

* OpenOffice is slow. If I start a lot of software systems, it is slow.

The initial allocation of the RAM to the VM is 256M bytes.
If you are a user of the VMware fusion, increase the size of RAM 
to 512M bytes by the configuration menu.
If you are a user of the VMware player, edit math200pi.vmx by a text editor
like the notepad.
Find the line
 memsize = "256"
and change it to
memsize = "512"

* I have a Windows VISTA machine. I tried to install knoppix/math by knx2hd (knoppix-installer) to the machine and build a dual boot environement, but it does not work.

This cite is mainly for Knoppix/Math on virtual machines and this is an expert level topic.  
We have not yet tried [2008.04.16], but it seems to be possible.  Here are hints.
Grub might set a wrong data in /boot/grub/menu.lst;
root(hd0,0) should be root(hd0,2).
