SPAM についての抗議を受けた場合にどうするか

"お前の所から SPAM が出ているぞ!" と抗議が来た場合.

abuse 宛のmailを受け取ること！

抗議メールをちゃんと受け取れるようにしていますか？ 受け取れないようになっているのは非常にまずいですよ.

abuse は抗議受け付けの専用アドレスです. abuse@自分サイト, postmaster@自分サイト, root@自分サイト 宛のmail を受け取るようにしましょう.

あなた自身が確信犯的にSPAM を出していた場合

この文書では想定していません.

自分が書いた mail が他人にとってはSPAM であった場合

弁解して取り繕うのはかえって不様なので, 謝って引き下がりましょう. 多数の人に受信者が意図しないmail を送付した場合, たとえあなたの mail が役にたった人が何人かいてもそれは SPAM です.

大規模な Mailing List に広告的なmail を出して, 役に立った人がいたから問題ないと言い張る人をたまに見掛けますが,これはだめ. ML の趣旨にそって使いましょう.

自分の管理下のマシンの利用者が発信元であった場合

  1. mail の log を残す.
  2. サイトの管理方針に従って SPAM 発信者に対処する.
  3. 抗議元にお詫びと対処した旨を書いた mail を送る. 利用者名などは出さないで対処内容を説明して納得してもらうのが基本.

自分の管理下のマシンが転送経路(relay)に利用されていた場合

  1. mail の log を残す.
  2. 転送禁止の対処を行う. relay test(abuse.net) で確認.
  3. JPCERT/CC(コンピュータ緊急対応センター) 等にインシデントの報告を行う. 必要なら助言を求める事ができる.
  4. 抗議元にお詫びと対処した旨を書いた mail を送る.
  5. 必要なら関連サイトにもレポ−ト.SPAM 対処依頼の文例
SPAMと第三者中継 の解説ペ−ジが参考になる.

自分の管理下のアドレスが詐称(spoofing)に使われていた場合

  1. JPCERT/CC(コンピュータ緊急対応センター) 等にインシデントの報告を行う. 必要なら助言を求める事ができる.
  2. 抗議元にレポ−トを確認した旨と状況説明の mail を送る.
  3. 必要なら関連サイトにもレポ−ト.SPAM 対処依頼の文例

SPAM 対処依頼の文例

関連サイト管理者に SPAM の調査と対策を依頼する文例. 読んでもらえば分かるが SPAM 発信者に直に抗議する内容ではない. 僕の所に実際に来たSPAMレポ−トを参考にさせてもらった. 状況に合わせて適当に書き換える.

一見 SPAM の発信源に見えても, アドレス詐称とか不正中継の被害者の場合があるので, いきなり怒鳴り込むような抗議文は避けるのが吉.

対処依頼を出しても反応が返って来ない事も多い. 親切に対処してくれる管理人に当たったら運が良い.

報告に Received:.... とか云う転送情報も含めないと 調査が進まないので完全なmailを送るように注意しよう.

え−っと. 英文の例だけど, 日本のサイトに英語で送り付けると面倒がって読んでもらえないだろう. 適当に日本語で書こう.

not repeated.

If your systems were used for relaying this message, could you please
take whatever action you deem appropriate to prevent further abuse of
your systems and their contribution to the abuse of others.

In case your systems were not involved in the transmission or
delivery of this message but your system or domain was used in the
message, then please consider this report as informational. If you
choose to act upon this report in order to protect your reputation
and prevent further abuse of your name and there is anything I can do
to help, then please let me know how I can assist.
